How to Get Gmail App Password

Important: You need a Gmail App Password, not your regular Gmail password.
  1. Go to Google Account Settings
  2. Click on Security in the left menu
  3. Enable 2-Step Verification if not already enabled
  4. Scroll down and click App passwords
  5. Select Mail and Other (Custom name)
  6. Enter "EmailGlow Pro" as the app name
  7. Click Generate
  8. Copy the 16-character password (like: abcd efgh ijkl mnop)
  9. Use this password in EmailGlow Pro Settings

Detailed Usage Instructions

  • Click the Settings icon in the top navigation
  • Enter your Gmail address (e.g., [email protected])
  • Enter your Gmail App Password (16 characters)
  • Click Save Configuration
  • Prepare a .txt or .csv file with email addresses
  • One email per line (e.g., [email protected])
  • Click Choose file in the Email Recipients section
  • Select your email list file
  • System will automatically load and validate emails
Supported formats: .txt, .csv, .json files with emails (Excel .xlsx coming soon)

Email List Format Examples:
Both formats work: One email per line OR comma-separated emails
  • Enter a compelling Subject Line
  • Write your email message in the rich text editor
  • Set Delay between emails (0 = no delay)
  • Choose Send Mode: Asynchronous (faster) or Synchronous
  • Optionally attach files (up to 10MB)
  • Click Preview to review your email
  • Click Launch Campaign to start sending
  • Monitor real-time progress in the stats cards
  • View individual email status in the table
  • Use Cancel All for emergency stop
  • Download reports after campaign completion

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Common causes:

  • Using regular Gmail password instead of App Password
  • 2-Step Verification not enabled on Gmail
  • Incorrect App Password (should be 16 characters)
  • Spaces in App Password (remove all spaces)
Solution: Generate a new Gmail App Password and ensure 2-Step Verification is enabled.

Supported formats:

  • .txt files: One email per line OR comma-separated
  • .csv files: Comma-separated email addresses
  • Maximum file size: 10MB
  • System automatically validates email format

You can control individual emails in the recipient table:

  • Send: Manually send pending emails
  • Cancel: Stop queued or sending emails
  • Resend: Retry failed or cancelled emails
  • Cancel All: Emergency stop for entire campaign

Reports are available after campaign completion:

  • Success Report: List of successfully sent emails
  • Failed Report: List of failed emails with reasons
  • Complete Report: All emails with status
  • Formats: TXT (simple list) or CSV (with details)
  • Synchronous (Default): Sends emails one by one, more reliable and controlled
  • Asynchronous: Sends multiple emails simultaneously, faster but less controlled
  • Delay: Time gap between emails (applies to both modes)
  • Use Sync for reliable delivery, Async for speed

Safety-first approach to prevent accidental sends:

  • Step 1: Upload emails → Button shows "Prepare Campaign" (Yellow)
  • Step 2: Click again → Button shows "Start Sending" (Green)
  • Individual emails are disabled until Step 2 is completed
  • Prevents accidents: No accidental bulk sends

View all your previous campaigns:

  • Click the 📧 History icon in the top navigation bar
  • View campaign statistics: sent, failed, success rates
  • See campaign dates and subject lines
  • History is automatically saved after each campaign
  • Last 50 campaigns are stored for reference
